Rochelle began her advertising career in 1979 as a copywriter at a small New York advertising agency.

Hispanic market advertising was still in its infancy when, a year later, she became involved in the launch of Font & Vaamonde, a Hispanic agency that would later become a division of Grey Advertising and an industry leader.

Over the course of 14 years, Rochelle handled 11 Procter & Gamble and 6 Kraft Foods brands, and developed Hispanic marketing initiatives for such clients as Bank of America, Warner Bros., Southern California Edison and many more.

By the time she left FoVa in 1992, she had moved from an account management and new business role to the Presidency of the agency's West Coast office.
Ms. Newman-Carrasco provides overall leadership and strategic guidance throughout all areas of Enlace's team structure.
She maintains a hands-on style and is active in the overall direction and development of marketing and research programs for several clients; and provides training and facilitation for companies addressing diversity issues.
Born on New York's Lower East Side, Rochelle grew up in a community where multi- culturalism wasn't a buzzword but rather a way of life.

A graduate of UC Irvine, Ms. Newman is an award winning playwright and a stand-up comic.

She shares sporadic spurts of personal time with a Panamanian born actor, a large dog named Bo and some fish. Her favorite author is Dr. Seuss.
